Verbeat is designed to keep your data private. This policy explains what the app does, and does not do, with your information.
The short version
Verbeat does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything the app does happens entirely on your device.
Microphone and speech
Verbeat uses your microphone and Apple's on device speech recognition to analyze your speaking rhythm and give you live feedback. This audio is processed locally on your iPhone. Your voice recordings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us or any third party. You can delete them at any time from within the app.
Your practice data
Your scripts, streaks, accuracy, and progress are stored locally on your device. We have no servers and never receive this information.
Analytics and tracking
Verbeat contains no third party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not use cookies or device identifiers, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Purchases
Verbeat Premium is sold as an auto renewing subscription through Apple's App Store. Payments, the free trial, renewals, and cancellations are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. We never see your payment details. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple account settings.
Children
Verbeat does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
